So, this posting is long overdue. Whose idea was it to start a blog anyway? Back on Febuary 24th-ish we actually had a pretty decent snow storm Ok, so maybe not a snow storm. We received about 6". I think that our life went on hold for a couple days and all we did was play in the snow, come in drink hot Chocolate and repeat... for 2 days. Gracie had a blast!! I must say I had a great time too. There are a few things I mastered during our snow days adventure. 1) I managed to get both kids bundled and out the door in under an hour. 2) My snowman making skills (although still laking) got much better. 3) I mastered wiping a snotty nose without taking my gloves off.
Gracelyn had a blast sledding down the hill in our driveway. She was getting more and more brave each time. She wanted to go all by herself which terrified me. You should have seen me running beside her as she went down. I wanted to be right there just is case I needed to dive and stop her or something.
Tyson was quite entertained and content just watching gracie and I. I mean wouldn't you? He was so warm and cozy. Bundle me up, stick me in a stroller with some blankets and I would be as happy as a clam too. Oh wait, I would need a latte to sip on.
A Few shots of Gracie in action. Watching her run all bundled up was so funny. She got her share of exercise that is for sure.

I taught gracie how to roll down the grassy hill. That was so much fun. I can't roll like I used to. Well, I guess it's not the rolling I struggled with it was bouncy up after I came to a stop. I had to lay there for a moment until my head quite spinning.

And then Daddy got home from work. He was so excited to use his new snow blower. This winter was suppose to be a doozy so after we moved into the country we bought a snow blower. This was his second time using it all winter. Doozy of a winter...I'd say not.
Although we had a great time in the snow, I am ready to tote up the winter clothes and bust out the flip flops.
